Make your own mummer mittens with this simple knit pattern.
Note: Credit for this chart design goes back to Mary Lou Carter-Pennell. You can see her beautiful knits on the Head to Toe Knits page found on facebook.
Mittens are designed to fit the average womens s/m hands. However you can use the notes and chart to incorporate the mummer into any of your favourite worsted weight mitten pattern.
You will need to know how to cast on, join & knit in the round, knit, purl, and how to knit two stitches together to decrease. You will also need to know how to do the duplicate stitch.
Pattern is written assuming you will use the magic loop method. You can use DPNS for this project but you will need to adjust for it yourself.
